Hello, I'm so glad you're here!
Whether you're starting your fertility journey, preparing for birth, adjusting to life with a new baby, or simply looking for reassurance along the way, you deserve to feel supported every step of the way.
My journey into birth work started after the birth of my first daughter in 2019, although I didn’t realise it at the time but a seed had been planted. It was only after having my 2nd daughter in 2023 that I knew I wanted to work in a role that supported birth and those preparing for parenthood.
My journey to this point had been a long one and after many years of infertility and trying to conceive, I became a mum to both of my children through IVF. It was a long, emotional journey, that changed me in ways I never expected.
I thought that once I was pregnant, the worry and uncertainty would disappear, but it didn't. Instead, I found my experiences continued to shape how I felt during pregnancy, birth, and parenthood. It was very lonely at times, and I know how much it can mean to feel seen, supported and understood.
At the time, I thought I was well prepared for birth. Looking back now, I realise there was so much I didn't know. I wish I'd had access to more balanced information, practical tools, and someone to help me understand all my options so I could make decisions that felt right for me. Most of all, I wish I'd spent more time preparing for life after birth. Like so many of us, I focused on my pregnancy and preparing for birth but didn’t think about what I would need or how I would feel afterwards.
This is the reason I do this work today!
I believe every parent deserves to feel respected, informed, and supported whatever path they choose. My role isn't to tell you what choices to make for your birth, or how to parent your baby but to give you the knowledge, support and confidence to make the decisions that feel right for you and your family.
Why this work matters to me.
I know from my own experiences that pregnancy and becoming a parent doesn’t always look the way we imagine. It can be filled with excitement and joy, but also uncertainty, vulnerability, and moments where you wonder if you're doing any of it "right."
That's why this work means so much to me.
I want every parent to feel like they have someone in their corner. Someone who will listen without judgement, answer their questions, help them understand their birth options, and remind them that their voice matters.
Whether we're preparing for birth together through hypnobirthing or antenatal classes, or I'm supporting you after your baby arrives as your postnatal doula, my goal is always to help you feel calm, confident and prepared.
